We are seeking an experienced Cyber security Analyst to join our highly multidisciplinary team at a leading Federal Government department.
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate, who will be responsible for collaborating, developing, and assisting with the provision of expert Cyber Security advice and completing complex technical cyber security risk assessments.
The successful candidate will have experience in conducting complex cyber security risk assessments and remediations across systems, with a sound understanding of the Information Security Manual and ACSC Essential Eight Maturity Model and industry cyber security frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing ICT system authorisations in line with the PSPF and ISM.
- Authorising cyber security authorisations documentation, including but not limited to, Statement of Applicability and Security Risk Management Plans.
- Managing engagements with globally dispersed stakeholder networks.
The ideal candidate will possess certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control. A minimum of 5 years' experience in ICT security assurance domains is beneficial.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A sound understanding of the Information Security Manual and ACSC Essential Eight Maturity Model and industry cyber security frameworks.
- Certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control.
- Minimum 5 years' experience conducting complex cyber security risk assessments and remediations across systems.
- Tertiary education in ICT security assurance domains is beneficial.
The successful candidate will be offered an initial contract to 30 June 2025, with 2 x 12 month extension options. The hourly rate is competitive and reflects the skills and experience required for this role.
