Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team in Newcastle. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and assist with shopping
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Administer medication and provide personal care services
  • Assist with mobility and therapy goals
  • Provide respite and emotional support

Requirements

  • 3 months or more experience as a support or care worker including Personal Care Skills OR willingness to learn personal care skills
  • Current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and registered vehicle
  • Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems
