Aquatic Centre Lifeguard Position

We are seeking a dedicated professional to work as a lifeguard at our aquatic centre. The ideal candidate will possess previous lifeguarding experience and have a strong commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise patrons using the aquatic facilities to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the aquatic centre, including equipment setup and cleaning of all areas.
  • Adhere to council policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and patrons.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist in program coordination.
  • Aid in pool operations and maintenance, ensuring consistent high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain currency of relevant qualifications and certifications.
  • Perform other duties as required by the aquatics supervisor with consultation.

The following requirements must be met: a current first aid certificate, a current pool lifeguard license, NSW working with children check clearance, and a strong motivation to serve the community.
