Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position starts at $71,785 during training and increases to $73,820 - $75,237 per annum, plus allowances and shift penalties. We also offer a range of benefits, including:

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing critical information to paramedics, and coordinating medical responses.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, using your problem-solving skills and logical thinking to prioritize tasks and make decisions quickly. You will also have the opportunity to develop your communication skills, working with a diverse range of people and situations.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You will also need to hold a valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
