Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Allied Health services to our NDIS participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of participants and provide therapeutic services to support their independence and well-being
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to each participant's unique needs and goals
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support participants in adapting to their environment
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation and ensure compliance in all aspects of practice

Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
