Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Installation Technician to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. The successful candidate will have experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, as well as a thorough understanding of fiber optic cabling systems.

The candidate will be responsible for installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work at heights, off of a ladder, and in confined spaces.

Key Requirements:

  • Installation of network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
  • Management of multiple concurrent interdisciplinary projects.
  • Inventory, tracking, and management of project-related materials throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality delivery of all work and maintenance of collocation space cleanliness.
  • Daily feedback on project progress to Project Manager.
