Physical Therapist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Ballina and surrounding areas. As a key member, you will deliver evidence-based physical therapy assessment and intervention to our clients under Aged Care Funding.
The role involves promoting independence and restoring functional independence to enable clients to remain living at home. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients.
- A degree in Physical Therapy with current registration.
- Proven ability to assess physical therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients within the community.
- Postgraduate experience working across diverse aged care services, including community-based settings.
- Thorough knowledge of health and well-being frameworks, including reablement and restorative care models.
- Demonstrated capability to operate effectively both as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer literacy, with a willingness to utilise required software to facilitate remote work.
- Commitment to understanding and upholding organisational values through professional interactions.
- Hold a current first aid certificate or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one.
- Possess a valid unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
