Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health Care
Job Overview:This role is crucial in providing evidence-based, person-centered care to patients in correctional centers. As a CNS, you will be responsible for assessing and managing mental health issues, developing and reviewing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage patient mental health conditions effectively.
- Develop and review treatment plans to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide clinical leadership and education to staff members.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Three years' experience working in mental health settings and post-graduate qualifications in mental health.
- Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
