Job Description:

The role of Principal Adviser involves working closely with senior management to achieve corporate and strategic business objectives. This includes proactively setting performance targets, analyzing operational performance data, and reporting on key findings. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of high-level corporate reporting documents, such as Service Delivery Statements and Annual Reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the implementation of the QCS Operational Performance Review Framework
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior managers on diverse issues relevant to performance management and monitoring
  • Prepare reports, submissions, briefs, and other correspondence in relation to performance outputs and outcomes
  • Work with senior managers to align organizational strategies to performance and improve performance measurement, evaluation, and reporting practices
  • Maintain and apply up-to-date knowledge of organizational performance and policy issues facing Queensland Corrective Services and its stakeholders
