The Associate Nurse Unit Manager will play a vital role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the highest standards of clinical care. This dynamic position involves coordinating and overseeing daily operations, providing expert guidance to staff while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
This role requires a proactive and skilled nurse who can enhance their leadership capabilities in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You will work closely with the NUM to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical care practices, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes remain at the forefront.
About the Team
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct. We deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at a range of other locations across the metropolitan and regional areas.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and mentoring student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
- Coordinating and overseeing daily operations, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
- Providing expert guidance to staff while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
