HammondCare At Home is expanding its services. We are seeking several permanent part-time Carers to provide support to Clients across the Merimbula region.

About the role:

In this position, you will deliver essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life. The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car for which you will be paid $0.99 cents per km plus paid travel time.

The care work you will be doing may include:

1. Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
2. Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
3. Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
4. Assisting with medication

About you:

You can relate to people and you are patient and solutions-focused.

You may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care.

You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance).

Ideally, you will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you are not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you.

You will be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients.

Benefits:

1. $30.42 to $33.15 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided
