We are seeking a skilled and experienced After Hours Rostering Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Description:
The After Hours Rostering Coordinator will be responsible for managing after-hours rostering, coordinating the casual workforce, and ensuring that rostering principles are followed to maintain a high standard of support to the business and care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing absentee calls from employees, shift bidding, and proactively making outbound calls to employees
- Coordinating the casual workforce to promote utilisation - maintaining availability, addressing gaps
- Ensuring clear communication of shift expectations and escalation procedures
- Sourcing replacements for all unplanned leave shifts ensuring all shifts are filled with suitable employees
- Recording after hours rosters changes within the rostering software - Humanforce
- Supporting Residential Aged Care to fill all other types of unfilled shifts (planned leave)
- Reviewing and considering employee working rights and limits when replacing shifts
- Ensuring all employees within the roster have full compliance
- Providing training and guidance to employees on how to access rosters and apply for leave
- Responding to inquiries, documenting key decisions, engaging stakeholders for input on rostering needs, and identifying recurring coverage gaps for escalation
Requirements:
- Completion of relevant tertiary qualifications or experience working in a similar administrative rostering/scheduler role
- Good understanding of Enterprise Agreements or Modern Awards (Aged Care Award and Nurses Award)
- Previous experience using a rostering time and attendance system (Humanforce preferred)
- Previous experience generating and interpreting data reports
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar rostering/scheduler role
- Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to commit to an ongoing part-time position
- Willingness to obtain a Police Check
