We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our team as Rural Nurses. As a Rural Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to people living in remote areas. You will work closely with local healthcare teams to develop innovative healthcare solutions and contribute to the improvement of healthcare services in rural areas.

About the Role
The WACHS TRAVEL program offers a unique opportunity for 2nd Year and above Registered Nurses to gain experience in a rural setting. Participants will undertake 3 rotations during the 12 months, with travel reimbursement and accommodation arranged for successful applicants. You will have the opportunity to gain experience across a range of clinical contexts depending on the location placed.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a rural setting
- Work closely with local healthcare teams to develop innovative healthcare solutions
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A minimum of 12 months recent acute care experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
