Job Description

Vestas is a leading wind turbine producer, and we are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Director, Service AU/ANZ. This position involves steering our service teams across Australia and New Zealand to achieve great goals and build upon an already profitable department.

This role requires using your extensive stakeholder management skills internally and externally to achieve many short and long term wins for Vestas Wind.

The Senior Director of Service is responsible for regional strategy and service delivery across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring customer demands are met in a highly efficient, safe, compliant manner while delivering on internal KPIs and PPIs as well as committed budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise a team of managers and an organisation of up to employees to meet current and future business needs
  • Ddeliver on financial P&L obligations with revenue in excess of $AUD 1 million
  • Manage Industrial Relations strategy to anticipate business needs and establish measures to manage accordingly
  • Participate in commercial activities including bid management, contract negotiations, and client disputes
  • Ensure operation KPI targets are achieved for HSE, warranted availability, and employee satisfaction

The successful candidate will have experience in leadership roles within established organisations, excellent problem-solving skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and the ability to influence across organisational boundaries.
