We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to drive analysis and provide strategic insights to support our business growth and operational effectiveness.

As a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, we require an individual with advanced proficiency in Excel financial modelling with large datasets, including strong experience with Power Query.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Business Analysis and Partnering
      • Develop value-add reporting capabilities across corporate functions.
      • Utilize business insights gathered through relationships and consultations with department heads to prepare forecast models and drive informed decision-making.
      • Identify opportunities for enhancing reporting and analytical capabilities within the finance function and across the organization.
    • Financial Reporting and Analysis
      • Provide valuable insights on key business drivers, collaborating with finance partners and analytics team members to document trends and insights.
      • Develop and maintain reports to support understanding of financial and operational performance at all levels.
    • Corporate Valuation Model
      • Develop, update, and analyse the corporate valuation model as directed by equity partners.
      • Offer guidance to senior leadership on outcomes of reforecasts, modelling scenarios to assess debt covenant sensitivities and other investing ratios.

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modelling with large datasets, including strong experience with Power Query.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline.
  • Background in Big 4 with 2+ years of corporate finance experience or experience in large M&A businesses.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of statutory and management reporting, including tax implications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, focusing on value-adding activities.
