Senior Systems Integration Engineer

The Senior Systems Integration Engineer will play a key role in defining and managing the entire systems integration of communications projects, from detailed design to deployment.

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our team and lead the integration of complex communication systems.

Responsibilities
  • Define and Manage System Integration: Lead the definition and management of system integration, including detailed design, set to work, integration testing, and deployment.
  • Detailed Design and Integration: Develop project-specific detailed designs and integration processes aligning them to the Engineering Management System.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan and execute detailed design and integration activities, including resource allocation, task management, and problem-solving.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential issues, manage risk, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful integration.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, issues, and risks.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering team members.
  • Accountability: Be accountable for ensuring required engineering products and activities are produced in accordance with approved procedures, to required specifications and quality standards, to schedule, and to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of communication systems.
  • Innovation and Excellence: Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the Detailed Design and Integration team.
Requirements
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proven experience in system integration and a strong understanding of communication systems.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Strong problem-solving and risk management skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear updates to management and stakeholders.
