We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Resource Specialist to join our team.
About the Role- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing geological expertise and supporting the overall operation of our mining site. This includes collecting and analyzing production and geological data, delivering accurate reports that inform mine planning decisions.
- Key tasks will include conducting geologic interpretation, core logging, and hole tracking, as well as developing resource models and providing regular reporting.
- Detailed geological maps of structures, lithology, and mineralization in open pit and underground environments must be created, highlighting areas of interest and potential.
- Logging Diamond and Reverse Circulation Drilling across the operation is crucial, ensuring high-quality data collection is maintained at all times.
- Guidance on underground face mapping and direct jumbo development in ore drives will also be provided by the Geological Resource Specialist.
- In addition, the role involves supervising drilling programs and collaborating with mining contractors to ensure efficient operations are maintained.
- Equipment installation and retrieval will also be part of the responsibilities.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
- Proven experience in geological resource management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
