Job Title: Data Governance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our AI and data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Governance: Develop and maintain our AI and data governance policies and procedures.
  • Champion Data Integrity: Ensure the quality and integrity of our data assets are fit for purpose.
  • Drive Privacy Compliance: Conduct privacy impact assessments for new projects to ensure compliance with the Australian Privacy Act and APPs.
  • Manage Risk: Identify and mitigate risks associated with data privacy and the responsible use of AI.
  • Collaborate and Educate: Partner with teams across the business to embed a 'Privacy-by-Design' culture and contribute to training programs.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in data privacy, data governance, or technology risk.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and APPs.
  • Hands-on experience conducting PIAs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience working in the media, entertainment, advertising, or technology industries.
  • Familiarity with data governance roles and cloud platforms.
