Work as a Kitchen Team Member

The MCG is one of the most famous venues in Australia, hosting big sports events, concerts and more. We are looking for a person to join our team as a kitchen attendant.

As a kitchen attendant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of people who are passionate about delivering great results. Your main responsibilities will include preparing food, cleaning the kitchen area, maintaining high hygiene standards and following health and safety guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you should have some previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a Food Safety Certificate or be willing to obtain one during onboarding and be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment. You should also be flexible with shifts, available to work mornings, days and nights, including weekends.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food in a commercial kitchen, ensuring beautiful presentation.
  • Keep the kitchen area clean and maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Follow WHS guidelines, manage Food Safety, and conduct temperature and quality checks.
  • Assist kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dish-washing, and waste management.
