Senior Data Science Lead

A career-defining opportunity exists for an accomplished Senior Data Scientist to lead data-driven initiatives, develop advanced analytics solutions and contribute to the strategic direction of the business through insight-led decision-making.

This is a role that offers variety, visibility, and the chance to solve real business problems using data. As a key member of our Data Science team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver and embed data solutions within business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse large datasets using statistical methods and machine learning techniques to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.
  • Design and deploy predictive models to forecast key business metrics such as sales performance, customer behaviour and supply chain activity.
  • Translate complex findings into accessible insights through data visualisation and storytelling tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders to support strategic planning and business decisions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a strong collaborative data culture.
Technical Skills and Tools:
  • Proficiency in Python or R and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning and data visualisation.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing predictive models.
