Senior Lawyer - Property & Civil Litigation
This is a senior role requiring the right candidate to lead and mentor junior lawyers, provide high-quality legal advice, represent the organisation in civil litigation and property-related disputes, manage a caseload while maintaining productivity, and ensure client outcomes are fair and free from exploitation.
Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of lawyers/paralegals at varying levels of experience.
- Provide expert legal advice on property, leasing, and related civil law issues.
- Represent the organisation in civil litigation and property-related disputes.
- Manage a steady litigation-heavy caseload.
- Ensure client outcomes are fair and free from exploitation.
- At least 5 years post-admission legal experience (civil/property law highly regarded).
- Eligible for a practising certificate in Queensland (and High Court register).
- Skilled in litigation, ideally with exposure to leasing, property, or trusts.
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of mentoring junior lawyers.
- A secure permanent role within a respected in-house legal team.
