We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Eli Lilly. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in building relationships with scientific experts and key opinion leaders in the oncology field.
Key Responsibilities- Scientific Expertise: Maintain and effectively communicate deep scientific knowledge in oncology, engaging in continuous learning to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.
- Customer Engagement: Excel at customer engagement, providing deep and advanced disease state and product information to scientific experts, and connecting them with other Lilly resources or internal business partners as needed.
- Strategic Vision: Synthesize complex data and effectively communicate meaningful clinical insights and unanswered customer questions to Lilly medical and cross-functional teams.
- Territory Ownership: Demonstrate strategic analysis, planning, and prioritization to maximize efficiency, implementing and evaluating a strategic territory plan and taking personal accountability for results.
- Experience: Previous MSL experience building relationships with scientific experts and key opinion leaders in the oncology field.
- Education: Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) required, with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience.
- Skills: Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, self-directed work style, strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, advanced presentation and computer skills, and effective strategic and critical thinking.
