Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled business accounts collector to join our collections team. This is a fixed-term part-time role, working 4 days per week.

The Role

This key position involves collecting, receipting and managing payments, reconciliations, debt management and business partnering. Additionally, you will be responsible for raising customer invoices and relevant billing tasks, as well as answering inbound calls related to customer accounts.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of experience working in a fast-paced administration environment and the ability to multitask
  • Experience working in accounts receivable with a focus on high-volume work environments
  • Excellent Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Superb customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • A strong interest in accounting and a genuine passion for working with numbers
  • The ability to process a high volume of work while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to use initiative when working independently
  • A positive mindset and flexible approach to work and tackling issues
