Water Resources Engineering Expertise Sought

We require a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to contribute their technical expertise in water resources engineering within a consultancy environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years' professional experience.

About the Role:

This is an opportunity for a senior engineer to provide consultancy and technical services, delivering innovative solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects locally, nationally, and internationally.

  • Advising as a technical subject matter expert on water resources projects
  • Supporting business development activities with new and existing clients to support the strategic direction of the Water Resources team
  • Conducting risk assessments and advising feasible solutions to clients
  • Assessment of water infrastructure (dams, levees, drainage works) from strategic planning to design and operation across a range of industries with a focus in the resources sector
Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Tertiary Engineering degree (Civil, Environmental)
  • Desire and willingness to work toward CPENG and/or RPEQ registration
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, develop business, and project manage
  • Strong knowledge and application of local standards, Australian standards, and statutory and regulatory requirements relating to civil design and water management
