Health Promotion Lead

The Program Manager will oversee the creation, execution, and evaluation of health promotion programs and initiatives aimed at improving the health outcomes for people residing in Sydney Local Health District.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of evidence-based health promotion programs and initiatives
- Contribute to the establishment and achievement of health promotion strategic objectives and operations
- Promote innovative health promotion practices and deliver impactful programs and initiatives
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health Promotion, Public Health, Marketing/Communications, Management, Epidemiology, or a related field, or significant experience in one or more of these disciplines
- Excellent leadership skills in developing health promotion programs aligned with strategic priorities
- Extensive experience in project planning, implementation, and evaluation of population health promotion programs
- Demonstrated expertise in communication, presentation, coaching, and facilitation skills, including various writing and editing styles (reports, research & evaluation, briefs, media, translation of information for promoting health promotion work)
