Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our casework team as a Youth Justice Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting victims and actively tackling the complex causes of youth crime.

About the Role

As a Youth Justice Specialist, you will be responsible for providing early intervention, statutory Youth Justice, and detention services to ensure that young people are held accountable for their offending behaviour. You will work closely with our team to help support young people to become responsible members of the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide case management services to young people and their families
  • Develop and implement intervention plans to address offending behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to provide a comprehensive support service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in social work, behavioural science, social science, criminology or a similar field. You will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
