Career Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Content Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication strategies that engage and motivate our employees. This role requires a strategic thinker who can create compelling content that aligns with our business objectives and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, edit, write, proofread, and distribute content across all internal communication channels
- Create engaging content (talking points, infographics, presentations, videos, etc.) for key events such as internal conferences, partner forums, and company-wide meetings
- Provide support for complex issues and urgent communication requests (e.g., incidents)
- Oversee all aspects of internal communication channels, including administration, content management, user experience, and system updates
- Evaluate the performance of internal communication channels and recommend improvements to boost employee engagement
- Track and assess the effectiveness of communications using key metrics (e.g., engagement rates, viewership, employee feedback) and generate performance reports
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6+ years' experience in communications
- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, or journalism preferred
- Proven experience working in a retail or complex corporate environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with experience in Adobe Creative ideal
- Excellent communication and editing skills – interpersonal, written, and presentation
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiating skills – ability to successfully engage with a large and diverse network of internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
