About the Role
This leadership position is responsible for delivering and continuously improving homelessness and housing services aligned with strategic objectives, funding requirements, and regulatory standards.
The manager oversees case management and outreach services, drives outcomes-focused service delivery, supports local teams and partnerships, and ensures compliance with workplace health and safety and risk management frameworks.
Critical to this role is collaboration across internal departments and with external stakeholders, as well as measuring service impact and engaging members to enhance support for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations and deliver program outcomes across client services, staff performance, budgets, and compliance.
- Build a culture of quality and accountability, focusing on continuous improvement and holistic client care.
- Oversee all aspects of program compliance, service agreements, and financial management.
- Mentor and support staff through coaching, supervision, and performance planning.
- Represent the program in internal and external forums, building strong relationships across the sector.
- Promote safe, ethical, and evidence-informed practices that align with our mission and strategic direction.
What We're Looking For
Tertiary qualifications in Community Services or a related field are essential. Proven experience leading programs or services in the community sector is also required. Strong leadership and operational management skills, including budget oversight and human resources, are necessary for success in this role.
A deep understanding of sector standards, funding guidelines, and legislation is critical. A commitment to social justice and the values-driven work of the community services sector is also essential.
