About the Role:
We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated graduate occupational therapists to join our team in Blacktown. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to develop their clinical skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job Description:
- To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to participants across diverse settings, including homes, day centres, parks, and clinic rooms.
- To conduct thorough assessments and develop impactful therapy plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
- To build meaningful relationships with clients, families, and caregivers, promoting trust, respect, and empathy.
- To contribute to the development of innovative solutions and best practices in occupational therapy, aligning with organizational values and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants' needs, abilities, and goals.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and client-centered approaches.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
