Companion Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Companion Carer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with domestic tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
• Offer emotional support and companionship to our clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
• Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

• Australian National Police check or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Current first aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain prior to start date
• Smart mobile phone
• Driver's licence and your own car with fully comprehensive insurance or willingness to obtain prior to start date
• Blue card or ability to obtain prior to start date

• A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
• Ability to provide personal and domestic care
• Willingness to learn new things, step out of your comfort zone, and take on feedback
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Flexible with changes to shifts and working times
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• High level of time management and organisational ability
• Willingness to participate in further education opportunities
• Basic experience with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and basic use of emails
