About the Role

The ACT Government is seeking a highly skilled Senior Plumber to join our team in the Sport and Recreation Facilities business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of irrigation systems and plumbing requirements at Government Sportsground Facilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the efficient and effective operation of irrigation systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Requirements

  • Sanitary, plumber and drainer licence
  • Workplace Health and Safety Induction (White Card)
  • Asbestos awareness card
  • Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role and ability to lift weight up to 20 to 25kg.
  • Desirable certificates: Gas-Fitting, TMV and Backflow Prevention, Excavation License, Restricted Electrical License, RPZ Values (installation and maintenance), Elevated Working Platform License, First Aid Certificate.
