Technical Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Advisor to join our project team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on the integration of digital enablement into a major infrastructure project in a hospital environment.

  • Advise the State on planning and architecture for integrating digital enablement into the project.
  • Design and commission digital enablement solutions for large capital projects and digital transformation strategies.
  • Utilise prior experience in complex digital advisory roles to ensure project success.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of major health project delivery needs and industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality technical advice and guidance to support project objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective digital enablement solutions.
  • Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and management of digital solutions.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet scope, budget, and requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale and complex digital projects in the health sector or a similar environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and execute projects effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Familiarity with lessons learnt from other major health projects.
  • Extensive understanding of project documents such as contracts, specifications, drawings, and schedules.
