Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Remuneration Expert to join our team, reporting to the Director of Talent, Organisational Development, and Remuneration.
Job SummaryThis is an ongoing full-time position at our Hawthorn campus. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end remuneration program of the University, providing expert advice, solutions, and recommendations on remuneration matters.
Responsibilities- Ensure the correct application and governance of the University's remuneration frameworks, policies, and practices to maintain consistency, fairness, and equity across the organization.
- Stay informed about remuneration trends, review market data, engage in industry forums, and stay up-to-date on regulatory changes to ensure that our reward frameworks reflect current market information and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a job evaluation framework (ideally Mercer) and build organisational capability to ensure the accurate definition and evaluation of roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge managing and maintaining a remuneration framework.
- Solid background in developing a compelling benefits profile and delivering reward programs within medium to large organisation.
- Proven ability to be analytical & handle data effectively with the ability to track and understand the market and trends over time.
