The Role
A Swim Teacher is responsible for delivering effective Swimming and Water Safety lessons to help grow the swim program. This role requires working flexible hours, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Successful applicants will demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging swimming lessons
- Provide excellent customer service to swimmers and parents
- Communicate effectively with students and colleagues
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Current First Aid Certificate & Current CPR Certification
- Working With Children Check & National Police Check
- Current AUSTSWIM Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (Desirable)
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (Desirable)
