Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team, with a focus on large value projects in Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants.

The successful candidate will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for supporting and managing project supervisory and engineering staff to ensure project delivery in accordance with quality, time, production, safety, and environmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming of projects
  • Administration of the contract
  • Compilation of claims, variations, valuation, and cost reviews
  • Notifying parties in breach and enabling methods to bring the project on track
Requirements
  • Project engineering experience working for reputable contractors
  • Thorough knowledge of drawings, specifications, and quality, OH&S, and environmental requirements
  • Experience in Pre-Contracts will be highly regarded
  • Experience working on water/wastewater projects will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Confidence in actively participating and liaising with multiple disciplinary teams, project managers, clients, superintendents, and consultants
