Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Green Space Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across our various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in our community by ensuring that our green spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in gardening, spraying, brush cutting, and zero-turn mowing. They will also possess a valid Manual Driver's License, White Card, and ACDC qualifications.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for individuals who are able to follow instructions, work effectively as part of a team, and be punctual and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance green spaces across our council-controlled roadsides and open spaces
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in gardening, spraying, brush cutting, and zero-turn mowing
  • Valid Manual Driver's License
  • White Card
  • ACDC qualifications
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Be punctual and reliable
