Project Management Expert Role

The role of a Project Management Expert involves overseeing and guiding the execution of various strategic initiatives and projects. This entails partnering with multiple stakeholders across different divisions to ensure seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on project compliance to maintain organizational standards and best practices.
  • Support centralized benefits management and cross-project dependency management for formal projects.
  • Identify and manage project, program, and portfolio insights to inform decision-making.
  • Deliver project funding requests as needed.
  • Review and enhance existing project management frameworks, methodologies, and governance artefacts.
  • Provide guidance and advice to BAU teams to uplift project discipline and knowledge of tools.
  • Coordinate internal governance and EPMO activities, including financial management and resource onboarding/offboarding.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly across project delivery, finance, and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of project methodology, frameworks, and concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience implementing process improvements within a PMO.
  • Ability to work in complex environments, ideally within financial services.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • P3O certification and project delivery experience will be highly regarded.
