Mobile Application Developer Role

This is a high-level, complex position that requires the application of technical expertise to deliver quality outcomes in the Federal Government sector.

The Mobile Application Developer will work independently, exercising sound judgement and decision-making skills to produce senior level advice and support. This role involves collaborating with key business stakeholders and local technical teams to enhance and support the development of projects within project teams.

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards for web and mobile applications, including WCAG 2.1.
  • Expertise in DevOps practices, including creating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub/GitLab and tooling such as Artifactory and HashiCorp Vault.
  • Ability to write automated unit, component, integration and functional tests.
  • Familiarity with converting UI designs into mobile app components and working with UI/UX designers to achieve a unified vision.
  • Experience integrating with various back-end APIs and services, including internal APIs, as well as services like Firebase and various CMS systems.

This opportunity offers flexibility in terms of working locations, and candidates must be eligible to obtain NV1 security clearance.

To succeed in this role, applicants should have extensive experience developing and releasing mobile applications on both Android and iOS using native tooling and frameworks such as React Native.
