At The Salvation Army, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Modern Workplace Engineer to join our team. This is a key strategic business partner role within the organization, responsible for delivering proactive project solutions and ensuring the seamless operation of IT workplace devices.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in working with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Office, MS Teams calling/VC, SharePoint, and Windows Server. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Intune/Endpoint Manager for managing devices and deployments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Environments (SOE) to align with modern standards, ensuring all TSA devices are up-to-date and optimized for performance.
  • Manage endpoint operations, including OS patching, application deployment, and updates using Intune/Endpoint management tools.
  • Provide comprehensive support for end-user devices throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Maintain the seamless functionality of Microsoft Store and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Develop and deliver user-friendly training materials to empower end-users with the knowledge they need.
  • Offer technical expertise in managing the Microsoft 365 platform, contributing to its design, implementation, and ongoing technical direction.
  • Deliver advanced (level 3) support for the modern workspace platform, resolving service requests, incidents, and problems efficiently.
  • Enhance the Microsoft Teams platform, including its infrastructure, to meet the evolving needs of the business.
