Job Title: Port Infrastructure Development Lead
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Port Infrastructure Development Lead to join our team at PERSOLKELLY.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality port infrastructure projects. This includes leading feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and technical reviews to ensure constructability and efficiency.
You will also lead a team of engineers in developing comprehensive infrastructure plans that align with business strategy and operational needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects and contribute to the growth and success of our client, Pilbara Ports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of designs and engineering solutions for port infrastructure.
- Conduct technical reviews of design and constructability.
- Lead feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis for infrastructure projects.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment and positive work culture.
- Support the development of comprehensive infrastructure plans that align with business strategy and operational needs.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Extensive experience working in an asset-intensive industry (10+ years).
- Proven ability and successful track record in developing scopes of work, design, and value analysis for capital projects.
- Proven team leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- A working understanding of asset and maintenance management within an industrial setting.
- Extensive experience with procurement processes including tendering.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously and make decisions in an environment with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Ability to work across all Pilbara Ports' sites
