This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced IT Operations and Service Delivery professional to apply their expertise in technology management, stakeholder collaboration, and project execution.

We are currently undergoing a major company-wide technology upgrade, involving new hardware, software, and applications that will require centralised management and continuous development.

This is a unique opportunity to build a best practice IT operation from the ground up, collaborating with diverse teams across multiple companies within the Collective, while navigating both technical and business challenges with efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and support of IT systems, including servers, PCs, OS, hardware, software, and applications.
  • Planning, managing IT operations, projects, and asset inventory.
  • Data analysis and creation of reports to support business needs.
  • Conducting network and security audits.
  • Cordination of IT hardware, software, and application management.
  • Oversight of new technology requests and system upgrades.

Helpdesk & Service Management

  • Coordination of helpdesk processes and major incident resolutions.
  • Troubleshooting IT issues proactively, minimising disruptions and identifying improvement areas.
  • Analysis of trends to prevent future issues.
  • Administration of Microsoft Business Central and support application integration.
  • Development and implementation of IT database management system.

Project & Process Management

  • Review of technology roadmap and technology stack across the group.
  • Leading IT projects and service reviews to minimise disruptions.
  • Management of project implementations and changes.
  • Recommendation of new processes for mobile device procurement and management.
  • Ensuring IT projects align with business objectives.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Gathering business requirements and aligning technology initiatives with organisational needs.
  • Liaising with vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Creation of reports and analysis of data to meet business requirements.
  • Clear communication with internal and external teams.
  • Regular progress updates to management.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support company goals.
  • Simplification of technical concepts for all skill levels.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Monitoring of vendor service delivery to meet SLAs and meet contractual obligations.
  • Building strong relationships with IT service providers.
  • Coordination of system upgrades with external vendors.
  • Alignment of IT with business needs through collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Development of RFPs and management of strategic sourcing.

Estimated Salary: AU$110,000 - AU$140,000 per annum.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within construction.
  • Strong technical literacy, with an understanding of IT processes, systems, software and applications.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on delivery and coordination across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with business applications such as Business Central, IPM, Definitiv and Sage, preferable.
  • Understanding of database management, network architecture and client/server technology.
  • Software development abilities preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • ITIL framework IV certification.
  • Microsoft certification or equivalent hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies.
