  • Personal Care Services: Assist clients with daily hygiene and grooming needs, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Medication Management: Support clients in taking their medications as prescribed, ensuring their health and wellbeing.
  • Transportation Services: Facilitate clients' attendance at appointments and social events, improving their overall quality of life.
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide help with light housekeeping and meal preparation, reducing stress and increasing comfort.
  • Social Engagement: Encourage participation in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being, fostering a sense of connection and community.
About You

We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic individual who possesses excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Empathy and Compassion: A deep understanding of the needs and experiences of older adults.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with clients and their families, building trust and rapport.
  • Organisational Skills: Proficiency in managing time and prioritising tasks to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: A willingness to accommodate varying client needs and preferences, demonstrating flexibility and empathy.
Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Current National Police Certificate.
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Immunisation against Tetanus and Hepatitis B.
  • Completion of 'Assist clients with medication' training (or commitment to obtain).
  • Completion of 'Recognise healthy body systems' training (or commitment to obtain).
