Lead Educator for Young Children

Fostering a collaborative community that engages families and empowers educators, we seek an experienced Lead Educator who can create engaging programs and experiences tailored to the developmental needs and interests of three-year-old children.

This role involves:

  • Designing and delivering educational programs that promote curiosity and learning in line with the VEYLDF.
  • Establishing and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and social interaction.
  • Documenting children's learning and development in line with the VEYLDF.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with families through effective communication.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure a harmonious work environment and contributing to the overall success of the centre.
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy environment in compliance with relevant regulations and our policies.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Victorian Institute of Teaching: Full Registration ideal, provisional considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching young children, preferably in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for fostering young children's growth and development.
