Job Title: Embedded Software Specialist

This role is ideal for a skilled professional with experience in designing and developing software for safety-critical systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create innovative solutions for customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing embedded software for SIL2 (or higher) safety-critical systems, preferably in transportation, rail, or industrial control
  • Implementing algorithms and debugging hardware/ software interactions using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and bus analysers
  • Familiarity with protocols and standards in the traffic and transport domain
  • Designing digital electronics and I/O systems, including watchdogs, fail-safe states, redundancy, and EMC considerations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience developing embedded software for safety-critical systems
  • Strong C programming skills for MCUs and real-time operating systems
  • Deep understanding of digital electronics and I/O design
  • Familiarity with protocols and standards in the traffic and transport domain
