About Mantra on Queen

Located in the heart of Brisbane city centre, Mantra on Queen offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as an Hospitality Operations Lead. Our property boasts self-contained apartment-style hotel rooms and one and two bedroom apartments.

Your Role

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for fostering a positive guest experience, maximising revenue, and ensuring seamless and efficient operations across all areas of the property. Your focus will be on driving a collective commitment to excellence through collaboration and teamwork.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with departmental leaders to efficiently manage operational needs and drive business growth
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking strategies to ensure profitable operation across all departments
  • Set performance benchmarks and define expectations to continuously enhance and uphold service standards
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and security measures to protect guests, staff, and property
  • Mentor and guide teams to develop their expertise and personal growth

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Department Head or Operations Manager with strong financial acumen
  • Effective communicator with excellent relationship management skills
  • Possess outstanding organisational skills with a keen ability to prioritise tasks and respond promptly
  • Able to work flexibly, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience
