Factory Sorter

Shred-X is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Factory Sorter to join our team at our Wetherill Park Branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of materials at our recycling facility.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
• Operate shredding and bailing equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
• Assist in the unloading and reloading of local trucks, as well as the loading of export containers and semi-trailers.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials, reporting any non-compliance to the supervisor.
• Perform other tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the facility.

• Preferably holding a current Forklift licence.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently, with a focus on meeting quality objectives.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
