We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic technology group at Splunk. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable systems that handle large volumes of data.
Responsibilities- Participate in the complete software development cycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, automation, and deployment.
- Identify and resolve pre-production system bottlenecks and production issues.
- Engage in design and code reviews to enhance product quality and customer experience.
- Make code maintainable and the product diagnosable and serviceable.
- Participate in rotating on-call duties to diagnose and solve customer issues.
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience developing software using C++, Python, GoLang, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including the use of associated tools.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks, CI/CD systems.
- Ability to document work for the benefit of the team.
- Knowledge of REST, grpc, or similar communication paradigms.
- Knowledge of public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure preferred.
- Prior industry experience through full-time employment or internships a plus.
