Real Estate Law Expert Required

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced real estate law expert to join our team. As a commercial property lawyer, you will have a solid understanding of the practical processes relevant to property law transactions and advice, including sales and acquisitions, e-conveyancing, property development, commercial and retail leasing, and general property law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date content for our popular legal guidance product that is Australia's most established and trusted resource for legal professionals.
  • Monitor legal developments and changes in current practice to ensure our content remains accurate and relevant.
  • Collaborate with senior writers to manage external author relationships and review externally prepared content for suitability.
  • Provide support to relationship managers to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in or contribute to industry events and activities such as masterclasses, webinars, and customer feedback sessions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Recent experience working in an Australian mid to top-tier law firm, in-house counsel or government role.
  • A background in transactional and advisory work in real estate law, with experience in sales and acquisitions, e-conveyancing, property development, commercial and retail leasing, and general property law.
  • Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills.
  • Aptitude for building and fostering relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Australia, preferably in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth. You will have the opportunity to work flexibly and/or remotely.
