Therapeutic Care Worker

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with children and young people aged 10 to 17 who have experienced trauma, neglect, and abuse. You will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality therapeutic care in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement current best practice therapeutic interventions and program guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care and child safety.
• Serve as a positive role model, supporting young people in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits while fostering independence.
• Create a safe and nurturing home environment, including managing household duties and providing nutritious meals.

Requirements:

• A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification is required. However, we are open to employing applicants committed to enrolling in a relevant qualification within three months of employment.
• A driver's license (minimum green P's) is essential for transporting young people.
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to multitask with ease.
