Terrain Management Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our team as a Terrain Management Specialist.
In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking various vegetation management and rehabilitation activities for private industry and government authorities.
Key tasks include:
- Bush regeneration
- Habitat restoration
- Native tree planting
- Brush cutting
- Weed control
- Chemical spraying
- Vegetation clearing for bushfire management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in bush regeneration, including herbicide application (high volume and backpack), brush cutting, and manual control techniques.
- A general knowledge of vegetation communities, including identification of local native plant and weed species.
- A relevant qualification, such as a Certificate in Conservation & Land Management.
- Practical knowledge of work health and safety policies and procedures, risk management practice, and principles.
- Ability to operate vehicles and field equipment.
- Physical fitness, a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to function in a team environment.
- A current driver's license.
- White Card (construction induction).
- ACDC/ChemCert qualifications.
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with occasional periods of up to 5 days away from home.
