Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our team as a Terrain Management Specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking various vegetation management and rehabilitation activities for private industry and government authorities.

Key tasks include:

  • Bush regeneration
  • Habitat restoration
  • Native tree planting
  • Brush cutting
  • Weed control
  • Chemical spraying
  • Vegetation clearing for bushfire management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in bush regeneration, including herbicide application (high volume and backpack), brush cutting, and manual control techniques.
  • A general knowledge of vegetation communities, including identification of local native plant and weed species.
  • A relevant qualification, such as a Certificate in Conservation & Land Management.
  • Practical knowledge of work health and safety policies and procedures, risk management practice, and principles.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and field equipment.
  • Physical fitness, a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to function in a team environment.
  • A current driver's license.
  • White Card (construction induction).
  • ACDC/ChemCert qualifications.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with occasional periods of up to 5 days away from home.
